SatDisk is a programmable decentralized storage protocol built natively on Bitcoin L1 via OPNet. Users encrypt files client-side with AES-256-GCM, split them into Merkle-tree-verified chunks, and distribute them across competing storage hosts — all enforced by smart contracts with MOTO token escrow. Hosts must pass random Merkle proof challenges to earn their payout; fail the challenge and the renter reclaims their escrow. No sidechains, no IPFS, no trust assumptions — just Bitcoin-native, cryptographically verified file storage with built-in economic guarantees.
